Account Manager- Concrete Cutting and Coring

What's the role?

You will become an important part of the newly formed National Diamond Service Contractor sales team. This Brisbane based position will be responsible for a focused group of industry specific professional customers who expect the highest level of quality products and services that Hilti can provide from our global diamond cutting, coring and sawing product portfolio. You will take the lead in growing your business across South East Queensland whilst sharing your knowledge across Hilti’s other trade specific sales force team members including demolition and general contracting.

What does the role involve?

As a field based Account Manager you will manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts while building relationships with large potential customers in the construction industry. You will work closely with key decision makers (end-users/service contractors/business owners) to identify effective solutions for Concrete cutting, drilling and sawing as well as Diamond Service Contractors (heavy diamond tool applications) in the construction sector. Liaising closely with the National Manager, you will develop the business and provide feedback on competitors, market trends and requirements to fully realise our market potential.

What you need is:

  • Strong sales focus with highly developed business acumen
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective problem solving ability
  • Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills.
  • Diamond tool Industry and/ or concrete cutting experience would be an advantage but not a pre- requisite
  • Self-starter capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle
  • A real team player with an eye for detail
  • Process driven and highly professional business approach
  • Competent computer skills
