What's the role?

We are seeking an exceptional Payroll Specialist to join our team in Rhodes, Sydney. This is an exciting, meaty stand-alone payroll specialist positon working within our diverse, dynamic and supportive head office.

What does the role involve?

The position is responsible for the end to end payroll process within Hilti and ensuring all aspects of payroll are completed accurately and timely. The role will also be responsible for various payroll related reporting, headcount and financial analysis, tracking and reporting, contributing to the month-end closing and reconciliations. The role is a critical position within the company ensuring the successful administration of the business. You will also be responsible for managing the end to end process for mobile phone administration for Hilti employees.

The role is a position of trust within the organisation requiring the individual to have the utmost levels of integrity and ethics. The role requires the individual to live the Hilti values of Integrity, Commitment, Courage and Teamwork. The position sits within the Finance team and works closely with the Human Resources department; therefore communication skills will be important for success in the role.

What you need is:

  • Solid and stable practical experience working within payroll; stand-alone positions preferred
  • A sound understanding of ADP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong educational background; degree, TAFE diploma desirable
  • IT literacy; ADP, SAP, Microsoft EXCEL, Concur
