Improving the overall efficiency of our supply chain is the goal – quality, inventory and cost. One of the central parameters when designing the supply chain is it’s end to end cycle time. Reducing it, will generate a direct impact in capital efficiency and many indirect ones. Working in the Strategic Supply Team, the candidate will have the opportunity to define and improve the end to end cycle time. Additionally, create and implement real business cases to evaluate the impact of cycle time reduction for the business unit.

For this role, you like to be in the driver seat to define, implement and enhance information management solutions. You are responsible for identifying trends, generate data insights and tell the story behind the data. You are challenging your stakeholders by asking the right questions to make recommendations for immediate next steps and long-term business planning. You are experienced with analytics tools, statistical packages and dashboards.
In this role you will manage the Supply and Operations planning process with main focus on Production (MPS) and Distribution Planning.
Being a business partner for Global Logistics by creating transparency, challenging status-quo as a guide and facilitator for value adding decisions; doing structured analysis and forecasting, ensuring high data quality in cost booking, allocation and adherence to finance manual standards
To improve the production and supply costs of a key product portfolio by optimizing the end to end supply chain performance through value stream mapping. Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months
Contribute to strategy creation on the scope of: 1. abrasives disks, 2. stamping parts and 3. small quantities service parts. Run RFQs and benchmarks with suppliers, collect relevant quotations, make spread sheets with quotes analysis. Analyzing transportation options and evaluate cost of logistics. Be part of the decision on the strategic direction. Other hands on tasks to support strategic sourcing activities. Start date is February 2019, duration for 3-6 months
