As a project manager you drive the development and implementation of new additive manufacturing technologies within Hilti. In close cooperation with different stakeholders, you identify products and applications which can be improved substantially by using additive manufacturing processes.
As an enthusiastic and experienced simulation engineer you will apply your strong knowledge in the field of structural finite element simulations within R&D projects. You will passionately drive insights and developments of innovative products for the construction industry.
In this role, you will be developing concepts for identified features to improve the existing S-BT system and bring it to the next level. Detailed analysis and characterization of components is a key supporting activity for our R&D projects, business units and production plants. These components comprise both metallographic samples from our tools and inserts (mostly steel based), as well as lithium-ion cells. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the technical tasks around the metallography activities and root cause analysis in failure investigations.
You will have the chance to shape the product vision of new fastening solutions by understanding customer needs, and developing and testing concepts to pave the way for future innovations. Start date is from the next possible point in time, duration for 6 months
