Intern – Manufacturing Engineering – Direct Fastening Consumables (m/f/x)

What's the role?

As an Intern in Direct Fastening Consumables Production at Plant 1 in Schaan, Liechtenstein, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment, where you will assist in the manufacturing and assembly of direct fastening consumables. These consumables such as various kinds of nails and screws are essential products for professionals in the construction industry fastening different materials to concrete or steel.

You will work closely with our production engineering team, aiming to improve our production processes and help develop the next generation of fastener production. This will give you hands-on experience in identifying and resolving problems by implementing your expertise in a manufacturing environment.

Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 3-6 months

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department, you’ll be part of
the engineering team, working on production topics such as value stream improvements as well as on projects in close collaboration with the development of the new generation of fasteners.
You’ll work closely with our experts to bring the fastener production to the next level.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Analysis of production processes and value streams to identify possible improvements in the production chain
  • Data analysis, creation of reports and presenting them to the project team
  • Support in development projects, e.g. prototype manufacturing and testing
  • Work in close collaboration with our project partners such as R&D, Quality or Supply
  • Contribute to our continuous improvement process

What you need is:


  • Enrollment for the whole internship period in a Bachelor/Master’s program in engineering, material science or similar studies 
  • Passion for innovation and process development
  • Hands on mentality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German or English
